Smartcanucks Cashback SCAM!

The Facts
Cash Back is something Smartcanucks.ca used to offer, once it attracted enough members to the site and people were raking in a lot of money from the cash back program smartcanucks.ca stopped giving payouts. The Admin, Boo Radley and his team of bully moderators made excuse after excuse about why people weren't getting their money right away, they insisted everyone would get what was owed to them, silly they all believed the lies. It's been more than a year since some people were promised they'd get their money back and still nothing. For those people that still think they will adventually get their money, don't be fooled it's not coming and Boo and his gang are all laughing their way to the bank. What a SCAM!

Question Late to the party

Hi, I'm wondering about payouts from the Cashback program. I sent Sally an email a couple weeks ago with all my details but got no response. I sent a second request yesterday, so I'm hopeful she'll respond. I thought I remembered reading here that everyone would get their payout. Does anyone have an update on this? Thanks!

Hi! I bought something from Chapters Indigo last Dec15th. I just want to ask how long would it take for my transaction to reflect on cash back?

You might have to wait for a while. We are all waiting to get paid. I have 2 hotel receipts from the summer that I am still waiting for.

please answer my one question how can someone prove that they shopped through the cash back system? I shopped @lancome , got credit of the cash back in my account here at SC but the one day i noticed that its gone and on my transaction history it say "-{the amount}". it was my first time using cashback and I knew there was some problems going on with cash back so I didn't got worried about it, as I had faith in Sc and thought it will be rectified. then when boo posted an update and asked everyone to e-mail . he told me I refunded the items thats why it like this and I swear I didnt returned the items . I even send boo screen shots of my lancome account but he didnt replied me back.

I know sally I am concerned about only like 5$ but it was my first attempt and I have lost faith in this system. can you please tell me what else could have i done to avoid this situation or why this happened to me . I can tell you for sure i didnt returned the stuff {I dont even know where I can return stuff bought from lancome.ca}. thanks

I too sent an e-mail requesting my cashback...a long time ago and still have not heard anything. I am glad that someone else in in my position so I might have a chance of getting it.

I ordered books from Bookcloseouts.com 2 times because I thought I would get money back...and was disappointed to find out that the program was being changed after the fact.

Hope someone gets back to us soon!

Thanks, Lexisor, for responding. I guess we must be the only two that are having this problem. It does seem strange to me that Sally has not responded to my emails. Please keep in touch if you get your rebate, and I'll do the same.

No. You're not the only ones that have not been paid. I'm guessing nobody has and nobody ever will be paid. They still owe me money, too. Just look at where they buried this thread...nobody can find it anymore. They're hoping people will forget so they can steal their money. Even the people responsible are ignoring these threads or deleting them (I know because they've deleted mine...and probably will again).

Thanks, blakjak, I guess that explains why Sally hasn't responded to my emails and Boo hasn't responded to my PM. I was thinking they were extremely busy or something. I think it would be better for them to just come clean and explain what happened instead of deleting everyone's posts. I would have more respect if that were the case. I'm all for giving people the benefit of the doubt, but being silent about it leaves little in doubt.

I received two notifications of posts to this thread that have already been deleted so I have no idea what they said, but I'm assuming it was that I might as well give up any hope of getting cashback from this program. So I will... Live and learn...
